DJ Caruso is set to direct a Dead Space movie. Caruso (sorry I can’t call a grown man “DJ”) is the same guy who did Eagle Eye, so you know this will be good. Hell just check out the plot (Variety).
Dead Space” is set in the 26th century in deep space, where an engineer who responds to a distress signal from a mining ship finds the vessel infested with monstrous creatures called Necromorphs. The creatures are human corpses, reanimated by an alien virus.
When will people in the future learn to ignore distress signals from mining ships? Or at least wait for backup. I mean don’t they have a robotic probe they can send? Just to check stuff out first.
