The Sri Lankan culture is a combination of culture from Dutch, British and Portuguese. These people have rules Sri Lanka for more number of years and they came through sea for customs and thus the people have grasped the cultural practice of these people. The food which is a traditional one occupies a major role in the Sri Lanka culture. The people of Sri Lanka also have some strong religious beliefs and they follow all the traditions which are closely related to the religion and beliefs. Paiontian, sculpture and architecture also occupies major places in the tradition and culture.
In ancient days Buddha visited srilanka and thus made the Sri Lankan people to believe more in the Buddhism. Music plays a major role in their religion beliefs and they always the drums to worship in the Buddhist and Hindu temple and in all the festival processions which is called kandyan drums.
